Purpose
- To openly honor a National Volunteer Group that
has demonstrated outstanding qualities and/or
service to the AMTA in their position
- To acknowledge and promote outstanding
achievements deserving of said recognition by
persons involved
- To recognize team effort
History
- Award established in 1996
- To be given annually
- Award is selected and kept unannounced until
time of presentation
- Award is given to one (1) Volunteer Group and all said therein per year
- Volunteer Group names printed in Hands On
Qualifications
- Volunteer Group accomplishment(s) exceed
expectations in a timely and cooperative manner
- Cooperation and team play displayed on Volunteer
Group
- Members of Volunteer Group are in good standing
at the time of award consideration
- This award may be given posthumously
- This award may be given to a Volunteer Group who
has completed a project to benefit AMTA or enhance
the massage profession
- Volunteer Group members may serve on more than
one (1) Volunteer Group
- Only one (1) National Volunteer Group will be
selected per year
- Volunteer Group members may be a past recipient
of another Outstanding National Committee or
Volunteer Group Award
- Recommended by the Awards Committee
- Approved by the Executive Committee
